If you haven't ridden a mountain bike around the south Cotswolds you really have missed a trick.

Our 'club' more than welcomes new riders - however - there are a couple of hoops to jump through.

1. You must have a bicycle helmet in good condition - and wear it.
2. Your bike must be in good order and ready to ride.
3. Follow the advice of the trail leader at all times.
4. If you plan to night ride make sure that lights are adequate and fully charged.
5. Carry a mobile phone and make sure that other riders know the number.

You will definitely not be left behind. We will always wait for the slowest rider - believe me, most people are grateful so they can catch their breath.

Mountain biking is bloody hard work. We don't expect you to be Olympic standard when you start out, but a base level of fitness is advised. If you persevere you'll be shocked by the level of fitness you can attain on a bike. Although most members are fat bastards.
